This game retells the story of the first game in the series, "Samurai Warriors," which was released in 2004.
With significantly improved visuals from the original "Samurai Warriors," the inclusion of more Warriors, and more refined actions, the Warring States period is brought to life in even more vibrant detail.
Furthermore, with the stories of Oda Nobunaga and Akechi Mitsuhide as the main focus, this game deviates from the existing "Samurai Warriors" stories and characters, offering a deeper and more daring depiction of the Warring States period from the Ōnin War to the Incident at Honnō-ji, marking the beginning of a new series.
