Split a PDF into several files, or merge, reorder and rotate pages from many PDFs into one, right on your PC. SoliPDF shows you every file name and every page before anything is written, and your original documents are never changed. Most PDF jobs are small: send only chapter three, drop the blank pages from a scan, put two statements into one file, number the pages of a report. SoliPDF does those jobs and keeps out of the way. There are two tools on the home page, Split and Playground, and nothing to set up first. Drop a PDF on the window and start. SPLIT • Custom ranges: type 1-3, 5, 8- and get one file for each range. Open ends like 8- (page 8 to the end) work too. • At a page: everything up to that page in one file, the rest in another. • Every N pages, or a number of equal parts. • Every page as its own file, or only the pages you pick from a grid of thumbnails. • By file size: set a limit such as 10 MB and each part is measured, so the sizes you see are the sizes on disk. Allow compression when a part would otherwise not fit. • Custom ranges and picked pages can also be saved as one file instead of a file each, which makes extracting pages a one-step job. SEE IT BEFORE IT IS WRITTEN • Every change to the options updates the preview at once: each output file is a card with its first and last page, its page count and the exact name it will have on disk. • Nothing is written until you press the button. A long split shows progress and can be cancelled, and a cancelled split leaves nothing behind. PLAYGROUND • Add as many PDFs as you like. Drag one onto the canvas and choose which of its pages to bring in. • Mix pages from different documents in any order, then drag to reorder. • Select pages to rotate, duplicate or remove them. Drag a box around pages to select many at once. • Undo and redo cover adding, rotating, duplicating, removing and reordering. • Add page numbers: five formats (such as Page 3 of 12), six positions, any start number, to every page or only the selected ones. • Add a text watermark such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, laid diagonally across each page, with adjustable strength. • Page numbers and watermarks show on the page thumbnails as soon as you add them. Save writes everything as one new PDF. SAFE BY DESIGN • Your originals are never changed and nothing is ever overwritten. A name that is already taken gets a number instead. • A split goes into a new folder next to the PDF, named after it, or anywhere you choose. • Links inside a document that point to other pages keep working when those pages end up in the same file. • Password-protected PDFs open once you type the password. The files you save don't need it. PRIVATE • Every document is read and written on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to create. • Passwords are held in memory only until you close the app. Page previews of an unlocked document are never cached to disk. MADE FOR WINDOWS • A native Windows app with the Mica look, in light, dark and high contrast themes. • Drag and drop PDFs anywhere a file is accepted.
