Resident Evil 2 Remake offers a modern twist on Capcom’s 1998 classic and while it is a remake, it is not a rework, meaning that bits and pieces of the story and the gameplay have been altered to improve on the few flaws the original game had and to make the best possible use of the powerful RE engine. Graphics The very first thing you will notice in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, especially if you’ve played the original game before, is just how far have game graphics come over the last two decades. While it is no surprise that the game looks significantly better now, it must be noted that the graphics are astounding even by today’s standard. The detail of both the playable characters and the enemies, along with the surroundings is incredible and will sometimes even make you feel a little bit uncomfortable, due to the game feeling too real.
