Nibras Scan is a modern Windows document scanner for WIA-compatible scanners. Capture single pages or multi-page documents, review every page, make corrections, and save the result as PDF, JPG, or PNG. PDF and document workflow • Create multi-page PDF documents. • Import an existing PDF as editable image pages or preserve its original PDF pages. • Use custom multi-page scanning with an adjustable page count and pause between scans. • Browse recent exports with search, sorting, thumbnails, and preview. Help when scanning fails • Run built-in checks for Windows Image Acquisition (WIA), scanner detection, driver status, scan source, and temporary files. • Open Windows scanner settings and official manufacturer support pages from the app. Designed for Windows • Light and dark themes. • English, Arabic, and French interfaces with right-to-left support. • Scanning, image processing, PDF creation, and document history are handled locally. Nibras Scan does not automatically upload scanned pages or document contents. Requirements and compatibility • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. • A WIA-compatible scanner and its manufacturer-provided Windows driver. • Network scanners must first be added in Windows through WSD/eSCL. • ADF and duplex options depend on scanner hardware and driver capabilities. Known limitations: Fujitsu ScanSnap and TWAIN-only scanners are not supported. Nibras Scan does not install scanner drivers automatically.
