Product Description
Lasq keeps everything you copy, turns the text you type often into snippets, and pastes either back into any Windows app with one keystroke. It runs entirely on your PC: no internet, no account, no tracking.
UNLIMITED CLIPBOARD HISTORY
Every text, image and file list you copy is saved with the app it came from and the time. Search it instantly, including Arabic text with or without diacritics, pin what you reuse, and let old items expire automatically.
PASTE PANEL AT YOUR CURSOR
Ctrl+Shift+V opens a small panel right where you are typing. Type a few letters to filter, press Enter to paste, Ctrl+Enter to paste as plain text, Shift+Enter to paste several items in a row, or press 1–9 for the first nine results.
SNIPPETS AND TEXT EXPANSION
Save the replies, signatures, addresses and phrases you type every day and give each a short trigger such as ;sig. Type the trigger in any program — Outlook, Word, Teams, Chrome, Notepad — and it is replaced by the full text. Snippets can contain the date, the time, the clipboard, fill-in fields and multiple-choice options; Backspace right after an expansion undoes it.
ENGLISH AND ARABIC, PROPERLY
One snippet can carry an English and an Arabic version, inserted according to the keyboard language you are typing in. Triggers work on both layouts, the interface is fully right-to-left in Arabic, and search understands Arabic letter variants and Arabic-Indic digits.
PASTE AS…
Clean up text while pasting: plain text, UPPER/lower/Title Case, trim spaces, join lines, fix text typed on the wrong keyboard layout (hgsghl becomes السلام), convert Arabic-Indic digits, pretty-print JSON, extract links or e-mail addresses, strip tracking parameters from links.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Lasq never connects to the internet and collects nothing. It honors the clipboard protection flags used by password managers, lets you exclude any app, skips text that looks like a payment card number, can encrypt its data with Windows DPAPI, and pauses with one shortcut.
QUICK CAPTURE
Ctrl+Shift+N from anywhere opens a one-line box: press Enter to keep a note, Ctrl+Enter to turn it into a snippet.
HOW TO USE
1. After installation Lasq runs in the background: its icon sits in the system tray (click the small arrow to show hidden icons). It starts with Windows; you can change that in Windows Settings > Apps > Startup.
2. Copy as you always do (Ctrl+C). Everything you copy is kept from now on.
3. To paste something you copied earlier: place the cursor where you want it, press Ctrl+Shift+V, type a few letters of what you are looking for, press Enter. Ctrl+Enter pastes as plain text, Shift+Enter pastes and keeps the panel open, keys 1 to 9 paste the first results, Esc closes.
4. To create a snippet: open the Library (Ctrl+Shift+L, or double-click the tray icon) > Snippets > New snippet. Give it a name, a trigger such as ;sig and its text; add an Arabic version in the Arabic tab if you want one. The toolbar inserts the date, the time, the clipboard, a fill-in field or a choice.
5. To use a snippet: type its trigger in any program and the full text appears in place. Press Backspace right after to undo. You can also pick it from the Snippets tab of the panel.
6. To clean text while pasting: in the panel press Alt+Enter and choose a transform (plain text, fix wrong keyboard layout, Arabic-Indic digits, JSON, links...).
7. Quick note: press Ctrl+Shift+N anywhere, type, press Enter. Ctrl+Enter turns it into a snippet instead.
8. Pause capture at any time with Ctrl+Alt+P or from the tray icon. Language, theme, shortcuts, retention period and excluded apps are in Library > Settings.
