Product Description
Getting a new PC should feel like a fresh start, not days of hunting for installers, copying folders you are not sure you got all of, and hoping nothing was left behind. Microsoft's own free tool was retired, and the cheap movers leave you guessing. HearthMove moves your whole computer to the new one over your own home network, and hands you a receipt proving every file arrived.
What moves:
- Your files and folders: Documents, Desktop, Pictures, Downloads, and whole extra drives, or just the folders you pick.
- Your apps: reinstalled fresh and current from their official source, built for the new PC. Copying installed programs breaks them, so we never do. Anything without an official source is listed on your receipt so nothing is forgotten.
- Your settings and profiles: browser bookmarks, mail, Telegram, and the hidden app data that makes an app feel like yours.
- Your AI conversations: Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Codex chats are moved and re-linked so they open on the new PC, and you can also save every one as a plain text file.
The old PC won't turn on? Take its drive out, plug it into the new PC over USB, and HearthMove rescues everything from it, including apps that were installed and conversations, even when the old Windows protects its folders.
It even looks after your Windows license: it shows your edition and product key, tells you honestly whether your license type is allowed to move (retail can, pre-installed OEM cannot), saves the key to a file for safekeeping, and releases it from the old PC only when you explicitly ask.
Every file is checked bit-for-bit as it lands, and a receipt on your desktop lists exactly what moved, what was verified, and anything that needs your attention. If it is on the receipt, it really happened.
Completely private: no cloud, no account, no subscription. Your files travel straight across your own network, encrypted, and never leave your two computers. Pay once.
