FFmpeg is not included with GamjaCut; on first launch the app guides you through downloading it and sets it up automatically (no need to extract anything). GamjaCut uses AI that runs on your own PC to turn many videos into one highlight video, and includes GamjaPlayer, a smart video player for watching, finding and cutting moments. Your videos are never uploaded. ■ GamjaCut – AI highlight editor · Drop videos or folders, pick a style (Auto, Travel, Pet, Action, People, Calm/Cinematic), a length (10 s to 5 min) and a ratio (Original, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1), and GamjaCut edits for you. · Describe what you want, such as "dogs swimming in the sea", and it prioritises those scenes. · Automatically skips unusable shots: blur, heavy shake, empty or static frames. · 9:16 vertical exports follow a person or dog in the frame. · Local speech recognition creates subtitles, exported as SRT or burned into the video (middle, lower middle or bottom). · Cut scenes to the beat of the music you choose. · Use a reference image to match a visual mood, or find the same scene across your videos. · Every export comes with a TXT report of which file and time range was used. ■ GamjaPlayer – a smart video player (new) · Smart timeline: AI marks ? people, ? dogs, ? talk, ? music and ? scene changes on the timeline. Click ? to jump to where the dog appears. · Bookmarks and notes: press M while watching; save all bookmarked moments as clips in one go. · Video info: press Tab to see resolution, frame rate, codec, HDR, bitrate, audio, duration and file size. · Quick trim: [ for the start, ] for the end, then Save clip.
