Product Description
DiskAtlas Pro answers one question fast: what is actually using my disk?
Point it at a drive or a folder. It scans, then shows you the answer three ways at once —
an interactive treemap where every rectangle is sized by real bytes, a ranked folder
breakdown you can drill through, and a list of your largest files. Click any block on the map
to zoom into it. Click again to go deeper. The folder you have been ignoring for two years is
usually visible within seconds.
WHAT YOU GET
A treemap that is actually readable
Every file and folder becomes a rectangle sized by how much space it really occupies. Colour
by folder to see the shape of your disk, by file type to spot what kind of data is dominating,
or by age to find everything you have not touched in years. Hover for the full path and size;
click to zoom in; step back up whenever you like.
Ranked folders and largest files
A sortable breakdown of where the space went, with each folder's share of the total. Filter
files by size — over 100 MB, over 500 MB, over 1 GB — or by age to surface the big things you
stopped using a long time ago.
A duplicate finder that does not waste your time
Finds byte-identical copies using a three-stage comparison: group by exact size, then compare
a sample from each end of the file, then verify the full contents of whatever survives. You
see how much space each group of copies is actually wasting, so you know what is worth acting
on. Files stored only in the cloud are skipped rather than downloaded.
Cleanup suggestions, described not sold
DiskAtlas Pro recognises content that regenerates itself — node_modules, __pycache__, build
output, package caches — along with old installers and large archives sitting in Downloads. It
tells you what each thing is and how much space it takes, marks how confident it is, and
selects nothing on your behalf. You decide.
Snapshots: see what changed
This is the feature you will keep coming back to. Save a snapshot of a scan, carry on with your
life, then rescan weeks later and compare. DiskAtlas Pro shows you exactly which folders grew,
which shrank, what appeared and what vanished — so "where did my 40 GB go?" becomes a question
with an answer.
Deletion you can undo
Everything goes to the Recycle Bin by default. Drive roots, Windows, Program Files and your
profile's known folders are refused outright — you can clean inside them, but the app will not
delete the containers themselves. Every batch is previewed and confirmed before anything moves.
Export and share
Save any scan as CSV for a spreadsheet, JSON for scripting, or a self-contained HTML report
that opens in any browser and contains no scripts and no tracking.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
Windows protects some folders from every app running as a normal user. Rather than quietly
leaving them out of the total, DiskAtlas Pro tells you how many folders it could not read, so
the number you are looking at is one you can trust.
PRIVACY
DiskAtlas Pro makes no network connections at all. There is no account, no sign-in, no
telemetry, no ads, and nothing is ever uploaded. Your file names never leave your PC. It is a
one-time purchase — not a subscription.
REQUIREMENTS
Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11. Native builds for both x64 and ARM64, so it
runs at full speed on Snapdragon and Copilot+ PCs.
