Product Description
DesClock puts a clean, easy to read clock right on your Windows desktop. It sits on top of your wallpaper, looks exactly the way you set it up, and stays out of your way while you work, study or play. If the small clock on the taskbar is hard to read at a glance, or you simply want a desktop that feels more like yours, DesClock is the desktop clock widget made for you.
Digital or analog
Use a large digital clock for a quick, clear read, or an analog clock face for a classic look. Switch between them any time.
Four analog clock faces
Classic, Minimal, Roman and Modern. Each one works with both 12-hour and 24-hour time.
Color every part of the analog clock
Give the hour hand, minute hand, second hand, numbers and dial their own colors. Pick the color of the face behind them and how see-through it is, from fully clear to solid.
12-hour or 24-hour time, with or without seconds
Choose the time format you actually use. The analog clock even has a real 24-hour dial, where the hour hand goes around once a day. Turn seconds off for a calmer clock that changes once a minute.
Show the date your way
Add the date under the time and choose how it reads: 5th September 2026, 09/05/2026, 2026-09-05 and more.
Style every detail
Set the font, size, weight and color for the time and for the date separately. Add an outline around the digital clock's text so it stays sharp on any wallpaper.
Any size, any look
Make the whole clock anywhere from 50% to 300% of its normal size, in Settings or by holding Ctrl and scrolling over it. Lower the opacity for a subtle, transparent clock, or add a drop shadow and set its strength, softness, distance and color.
Saved looks
Found a style you love? Save it under a name and switch back to it in one click. Keep one look for work, another for the evening, another for your gaming setup.
Exactly where you want it
Snap the clock to any of 9 spots on the screen or drag it wherever you like. On a PC with more than one monitor, choose which display it lives on. Lock it in place so it never moves by accident or turn on click-through, so your clicks pass straight to whatever is behind it.
Out of the way when it matters
DesClock fades out on its own while a full-screen video, game or presentation fills its screen and fades back in when you are done.
Light, dark or automatic
The clock and its Settings window follow Windows light mode, dark mode or your system setting, with a clean Fluent design built for Windows 11.
Always visible, ready at startup
Keep DesClock on top of other windows, and have it start automatically when you sign in to Windows.

Common questions
Does DesClock work on Windows 10?
Yes. DesClock runs on Windows 11 and on Windows 10 version 1809 or newer.
Does it replace the taskbar clock?
No. The Windows taskbar clock stays where it is. DesClock adds a larger, fully customizable clock to your desktop.
Can I make the clock transparent?
Yes. There is no box or background behind the digital clock, so only the time and date show on your wallpaper. You can lower the opacity of the whole clock and set how see-through the analog face is.
Does it work with more than one monitor?
Yes. Choose the display you want in Settings or just drag the clock to it.
Will it get in the way of games or videos?
No. It hides itself while a full-screen app covers its screen, and you can also make it click-through, so it never catches a click.
Will it slow down my PC?
DesClock is a small native Windows app, built to run quietly in the background all day. With seconds turned off it only updates once a minute.
Does it need an internet connection or an account?
No. DesClock works completely offline. There is no sign in, no account and no data collection. Your settings are saved on your own PC.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. One purchase gets you the full app. There are no ads, no subscription and no features locked behind extra payments. Updates from the Microsoft Store are included.
How do I open Settings or close the clock?
Use the DesClock icon in the system tray next to the taskbar clock. Opening DesClock again from the Start menu also opens Settings.
Why is DesClock a paid app?
Many free clock widgets pay for themselves with ads, tracking or constant upgrade prompts. DesClock does none of that. Your purchase pays for a polished, private app that respects your desktop, and it supports continued development, bug fixes and new features in future updates.
