No account or sign-in with us is required. ONE KEYSTROKE, FULL CONTROL F9 starts reading. Press it again to pause or resume from the same position. Shift+F9 stops playback and clears the queue. Long content is processed in sections so reading begins promptly. The Live Text display shows the current passage, real reading progress, and the compute path that is actually active. OFFLINE, WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION Bundled German and English offline voices are included. Cortex Voice is a one-time purchase with no subscription or per-character billing. On supported x64 PCs, optional NVIDIA CUDA acceleration can perform synthesis. When it is not available, Cortex Voice automatically continues on the CPU. Cortex Voice is a text-to-speech application only. It contains no dictation feature and does not request microphone access. Text inside images or programs that prevent copying selected content cannot be read.
