Browser Close Timer is a simple tool for reducing excessive browser use, avoiding late-night browsing, and keeping work or study sessions on schedule. Set a separate usage timer for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox. When the selected duration has elapsed, the app sends a normal close request to the corresponding browser. You can also track browser usage without closing any windows. Recorded usage time can be reviewed by day, month, or year, helping you understand how much time you spend in each browser. Check the remaining time and receive timer notifications from the Windows notification area. The app never forcibly terminates browser processes. If a browser displays a confirmation dialog because a page contains unsaved data, the app does not bypass the dialog. You can review the browser window and decide whether to close it. Usage records are stored only on your device. The app does not read your browsing history, open pages, URLs, passwords, or form data, and it does not transmit usage records.
