Product Description
Sending a private PDF should not mean trusting a web uploader with it. Batch Protect PDF applies one real AES-256 password across a folder, writes safe copies instead of changing the originals, and verifies that each protected result actually opens only with the right password.
Pick a folder, set a password, confirm it, and run the batch. Need one? Generate a strong password in one click.
What it does:
- locks every PDF in a folder with one password
- generates a cryptographically strong password on request
- optionally encrypts document metadata too — title, author, and more — on by default
- verifies every output: the right password opens it, a wrong one is rejected
Switch to Unprotect mode to remove protection you already have the password for:
- give it a password, plus an optional alternate for folders that don't all share one
- a file that rejects both is skipped, not treated as a reason to stop the batch
Built for real batch work:
- signed and already-protected PDFs are skipped automatically
- originals are never touched — outputs go to a separate folder
- passwords are never written to settings or logs
Everything runs locally. No account, no subscription, no analytics, no telemetry — your PDFs and passwords never leave your PC.
