Set your levels once. AmporIQ keeps them there. Windows apps, games, meeting software, drivers and USB or Bluetooth devices sometimes change your speaker volume or microphone level without asking. AmporIQ watches your Windows audio devices and puts the level back the moment something moves it outside the rule you chose. Three simple rules, for output and microphone separately: • Exact: always keep this exact level. • Maximum: lower is fine, but never louder than your limit. • Minimum: higher is fine, but never quieter than your floor, which is ideal for a microphone that keeps getting turned down. AmporIQ follows your Windows default device automatically, or protects a specific device you choose. If that device is unplugged, AmporIQ waits and resumes protection when it comes back. It reacts to Windows audio notifications instead of constantly polling, so it stays idle when nothing changes. It runs quietly from the notification area and starts with Windows if you want it to. AmporIQ controls device levels only. It never records or listens to your microphone. There is no account, no subscription, no telemetry and no internet connection. Optional: "Keep audio device active" plays digital silence to keep the Windows output device active, for USB DACs and speakers that are slow to wake. The effect depends on the device and driver.
