Alvenera is a personal finance ledger that shows your balance ahead of time: not only what is in your accounts today, but what will be left after the rent, the pay, the loan instalment and the card payment you already know are coming. Enter what is scheduled once, and each payment is written into the ledger at its date. Every entry shows the balance it leaves behind, so the day an account runs short is visible weeks before it happens. The Runway screen puts it in one sentence: the lowest your balance goes in the next 30 days, when, and which entry takes it there. Everything stays on your device. Alvenera does not connect to your bank: there is no account to create, no server, no ads, no tracking and no telemetry. The app never opens a network connection. Statements arrive as the files your bank already lets you download (OFX, QFX or CSV); Alvenera compares them with what you entered, reconciles what it is sure of, and asks you about the rest. What's inside • Ledger: every entry with its category, its status and the running balance after it. Reconciled, entered and projected entries each look different, so a forecast is never mistaken for a bank balance. • Runway: the low point of the next 30 days, across the accounts you can spend from. • Where: spending by category over a month, three months or a year, compared with the period before. • Budget: a plan for each category, and progress that also counts the bills not yet paid. • Due: recurring payments, transfers, loans and credit cards, each with the arithmetic behind it — interest, principal, payoff date and total cost. Try an extra payment and see the interest saved and the months removed before you commit to it. Also: statement import with a review of every match, transfers between your own accounts kept as one movement, split transactions, category rules for imports, savings goals, several currencies with exchange rates you enter, reminders for upcoming payments, and a guide built into every screen. An optional app password locks the app and encrypts your backups (AES-GCM). Backups are files you put wherever you like — a folder, a USB key, your own cloud storage — and restore on another computer or phone. Alvenera is fully bilingual in English and French.
